FAQ

J&T Connect Run 2024 was held as a pre-peak event for the J&T Connect Preneur Summit and aims to build relationships with society, communities and entrepreneurs through sports.
J&T Connect Run 2024 will be held on Sunday, July 14 2024, located at Plaza Parkir Timur - Gelora Bung Karno, Central Jakarta.
Registration will be open on April 24 2024 - May 31 2024. (Registration can be done while quota slots are still available).

Participants are allowed to take part in one of the available categories, namely:

  • For the 5K Fun Run category, foreigners and Indonesian citizens can participate in all groups with a minimum age of 13 years.
  • For the 10K Run Express category, foreigners and Indonesian citizens with a minimum age of 17 can participate.
Terms and Conditions for Cut Off Time are as follows:
  • 5K Fun Run : 1 Hour
  • 10K Run Express : 2 Hours
  • In the 5K category there is no time recording, and it is only a Fun Run so there are no podium prizes for participants. However, there will be prizes for the content challenge.
  • Meanwhile, in the 10K category there will be a time recording and the nature of the competition, therefore there will be a podium prize intended only for WNI (Indonesian citizens).

Participants will get participant benefits, the details of which can be seen HERE.
J&T Connect Run 2024 Race Pack will be delivered and sent directly to each participant's residential address using the J&T Express service on July 2-8.
The event will start at 05.00 WIB - finish.

Goods storage will be provided at the event location, and is intended for participants who have BIB and with the following conditions:

  • Participants are advised to arrive early if they want to leave items to avoid queues.
  • The committee only provides goods storage from 05.00 to 09.00 WIB.
  • Participants are expected to bring necessary items.
  • Participants are not advised to leave valuable items.
  • Participants who deposit/pick up items at the baggage collection counter are required to show the BIB to the officer and fill out the item storage form provided.
  • If participants do not collect items within the specified time limit, the organizer is not responsible for any losses.

For changing clothes, you can use the toilets available at the activity location.

  • Bring necessary items.
  • Participants are prohibited from carrying sharp weapons which could injure themselves or others.
  • Participants who have certain illnesses are required to bring personal medication.
The parking location is located in the Gelora Bung Karno area.
Water station locations are at every 2.5km point and ambulance locations are at every 5km point. The route can be seen here (share image link for 5K 10K route)
Every participant is strictly prohibited from cutting off the road to reach the finish line, if something undesirable happens, the risk is borne by the participant.

  • Participants are WNA (Foreign Citizens) and WNI (Indonesian Citizens).
  • Age requirements:
                         1.     The 5K Fun Run category can be participated by a minimum age of 13 years.
                         2.     The 10K Run Express category can be participated by a minimum age of 17 years.
  • The exact age will be seen on the day of implementation.

 

General Terms

  1. Participants can register from April 24 - May 31 2024. As long as quotas are still available.
  2. Participants are required to fill out the registration form with correct data according to their official identity (KTP/SIM/Passport), and are not permitted to use initials.
  3. The Organizer has the right to disqualify and the registration fee is considered forfeited if it is proven that they have provided incorrect data and information.
  4. Registration data filled in by participants such as name, category, competition, gender, t-shirt size cannot be changed or changed after the registration process is complete.
  5. When filling in your address, make sure that your address is your current residential address and that it is written completely and clearly, including adequate information such as street name, building number, city and accurate postal code, to ensure that Race Pack delivery reaches its destination. in a timely manner
  6. Participants are required to complete payment according to the price of the selected category until the payment status shows settlement and receive a registration confirmation email in the email after registration is completed (if participants do not receive the email, please check the spam/junk/promotion folder).
  7. If the payment process is interrupted or the participant accidentally closes the payment pop-up, the participant can repeat the registration process again until successful.
  8. Participants can only register for 1 category.
  9. The organizer has the right to close or extend the registration period without prior notification if participant capacity is deemed sufficient.
  10. By registering, participants are deemed to agree to all the rules and regulations prepared by the organizer.
 
  • J&T Connect Run 2024 Race Pack will be delivered and sent directly to each participant's residential address using J&T Express as shipment service on July 2-8 2024.
  • Participants are required to wear t-shirts/jerseys/costumes provided by the organizer, in a polite style and do not contain racial or political elements.
  • Race pack delivery can only be done according to the specified time.
  • All participants will receive a race pack containing a Jersey, String Bag, BIB, Hand Fan.

General requirements

    1. The applicable regulations are in accordance with the provisions of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) and the Indonesian Athletics Association (PASI).
    2. Participants are required to comply with all sports rules and regulations in the new normal period and all instructions and guidelines provided by the organizer.
    3. The organizer has the right to change the implementation time and location or make adjustments to the implementation of the event.
    4. Cut Off Time for each category is:
      • - 5K : 1 Hour
      • - 10K : 2 Hours
    5. Participants who can win podium prizes are in the 5K & 10K Run Express category.
    6. Participants in the 10K master category and members of the community challenge group have the opportunity to win the general category podium if their finishing time is faster than other general category participants (group members have the opportunity to win two podiums, namely group and individual).
    7. Each participant in the community challenge category only gets one BIB number. Participants are not allowed to register for more than one community challenge group.
    8. BIBs for community groups will get 4 BIBs with consecutive numbers.
    9. Community challenge participants must consist of 4 people with at least 1 different gender in one group (3 women & 1 man or 3 men & 1 woman). If there is a group that does not meet the gender requirements, they will be considered disqualified if they become potential winners.The community challenge does not take place in a relay, all group members complete a 10K run.
    10. The winner of the community challenge will be determined by the fastest accumulated finishing time.
    11. Community Challenge Group Member Participants cannot win the Masters podium
    12. Master A winners can advance to the General category. Master B winners can also advance to the general category. Those in the Master B category cannot advance to the Master A category
    13. The organizer has the right to use photos or videos of participants participating in this event without a time limit.
    14. The committee is only responsible for providing first aid or first aid and taking you to the nearest hospital, if an injury/accident occurs during the match.
    15. Participants who require further (intensive) assistance when an injury occurs is the responsibility of the participant concerned.
    16. All matters relating to children (especially child injuries/accidents) are the responsibility of each parent / companion.
    17. Participants agree, know and understand the risks and dangers that arise from participation in the competition and do not have the right to sue the organizer for any incident that could cause bodily injury, disability or death.
    18. The safety of participants during the event is the responsibility of each participant.
    19. Animals, bicycles, inline skates, strollers, strollers, shoes with built-in rollers or other wheeled aids are not permitted on the route.
    20. Participants will uphold sportsmanship during the activity and are committed not to carry out actions that are detrimental to other participants.
    21. Participants must know and run according to the specified route.
    22. The participant who is declared the winner is the participant who completes the competition with the best time, according to the competition category, wears the chest number according to the personal data when registering and does not commit any cheating.
    23. Participants who complete the competition outside the conditions above are considered disqualified and are not entitled to receive medals/prizes.
    24. Participants who start the competition before the official start of the competition will be disqualified.
    25. Participants who do not follow other rules set by the Organizer will be disqualified.

Jersey & BIB Terms

  1. Participants are advised to use the jersey provided by the organizer.
  2. The BIB number is the participant's chest number which must be used on the front of the participant's shirt so that it is clearly visible.
  3. Do not bend, tear or do anything else that could cause damage to the chips and result in the loss of your personal results.
  4. Registration and participant chest numbers cannot be transferred or traded to other parties.
  5. Selling or transferring a participant's chest number to another person will result in the disqualification and/or ban of any individual involved in future events.
  • All finishers in the 5K Fun Run and 10K Run Express categories are entitled to medals.
  • Participants are entitled to podium prizes only in the 10K Run Express category.
  • Participants who are entitled to get content challenge prizes are only in the 5K Fun Run category.
  • Podium prizes are only intended for WNI (Indonesian citizens) participants.
  • The jury's decision regarding determining the winner is absolute and cannot be contested.
  • If cheating occurs, participants can protest verbally and follow up with a written protest before the winner is announced.
  • The protest letter is attached with evidence and signed using a stamp. The protest fee is IDR 500,000 (Five Hundred thousand rupiah).
  • If the jury's initial decision is proven correct, the participant's protest costs are considered forfeited.

  • The organizer has the right to cancel, change or replace all prizes at any time with or without notification to participants.
  • The committee has the right to award prizes within a period determined by the committee. Prizes cannot be exchanged or cashed.
  • Prizes cannot be represented or transferred and must show original identity according to registration data.
  • Prize taxes are borne by the winner.

  • Conditions for Safekeeping of Goods
    1. The committee only provides goods storage from 05.00 to 09.00 WIB.
    2. Participants are not allowed to leave valuables in the luggage storage tent provided by the organizer.
    3. Participants who wish to deposit/retrieve goods at the goods storage counter are required to show their BIB to the officer and fill out the goods storage form provided.
    4. Loss of BIB is not the responsibility of the organizer.
    5. Participants agree, acknowledge and understand that the organizer is not responsible for personal items or property lost, damaged or stolen during the event.
